Hawk Strategies joins CASA of Bergen County in honoring our dear friend Gail Gordon
July 11, 2022- Hawk Strategies CEO Anthony Attanasio and Vice President John Case were honored to participate in the 2nd Annual CASA of Bergen County’s “FORE” the Kids Golf Classic at the beautiful Edgewood Country Club. In addition to supporting a worthy cause, the event was honoring Hawk Strategies’ dear friend and business partner Gail Gordon. Gail has been a tireless advocate for CASA of Bergen County and was recognized for her advocacy on behalf of the children who depend upon CASA’s support during life’s most difficult struggles.
CASA for Children of Bergen County, recruits, screens, and trains individuals who become Court Appointed Special Advocates. The Family Court judiciary refer children to Bergen CASA who have been removed from their homes by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency and need assistance; CASA then provides an advocate dedicated to one child or sibling group. CASA fills a special role as the only adult specifically assigned to look out for the best interests of the child.
The mission of CASA for Children of Bergen County is to advocate for children removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. They ensure that needed services and assistance are made available to these children while helping to move them toward safe and permanent homes.
