Hawk Strategies participates in the 2022 NJ State League of Municipalities Conference in AC

Hawk Strategies CEO Anthony Attanasio and Vice President John Case supported several of their clients and engaged with hundreds of NJ’s elected and appointed leaders over the course of the three-day conference

Hawk Strategies CEO Anthony Attanasio and Vice President John Case were proud to represent their clients at a very successful 2022 NJ State League of Municipalities Conference (NJSLOM). The conference continued to hold the state’s largest trade show at the Atlantic City Convention Center. In addition to a tremendous number of workshops that offered continuing education credits (CE) for public officials and private industry, the networking events once again provided an excellent opportunity for the more than 10,000 conference attendees to mix and mingle.

Hawk Strategies would like to congratulate our client and friend, Pennoni Regional VP Todd Hay, on winning the 2022 Municipal Engineer of the Year Award from the NJ Society of Municipal Engineers (NJSME). This award is long overdue for a man who has dedicated his career to delivering top-notch engineering to the municipal sector. He has also been a very successful industry advocate. In fact, as the President of the NJSME in 2016, Hay worked with then UTCA Executive Director Anthony Attanasio to pass Changed Conditions legislation that has significantly improved project delivery on projects governed by Local Public Contracts Law. This legislation reduced lawsuits related to municipal construction which has led to more projects being delivered on time and within budget.

Hawk Strategies CEO Attanasio enjoyed working the tradeshow floor with Asphalt Paving Systems led by their Director of Sales and Marketing Wally Percy IV. Along with APS team members Wally Percy III and Austin Slater, the team spoke with hundreds of municipal officials who learned about the benefits of pavement preservation.

In addition, Attanasio also enjoyed some social time with his dear friend and New Jersey’s next Governor Jack Ciattarelli at the world-famous Atlantic City Irish Pub along with Vineland Mayor Anthony Fanucci.

Hawk Strategies continues to be the region’s leading transportation and infrastructure consulting firm and enjoyed representing our clients at this year’s “League”. Thank you to the NJ State League of Municipalities Executive Director Mike Cerra and his team for holding another very successful annual conference.
