Hawk Strategies CEO Anthony Attanasio and APS President Ken Messina Meet with Members of Congress While Attending the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting
Hawk Strategies CEO Anthony Attanasio and APS President Ken Messina enjoyed the opportunity to speak with several members of the New Jersey Congressional delegation to discuss pavement preservation and its benefits to New Jersey’s infrastructure and taxpayers. They met with Congressmen Donald Norcross (NJ-1), Jeff Van Drew (NJ-2) & Tom Kean (NJ-7) and held fruitful discussions about New Jersey’s infrastructure, pavement preservation, federal transportation funding and the current situation in Washington D.C.
Attanasio & Messina were in Washington DC attending the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting. In addition to visiting Capitol Hill to meet with the Members of Congress, they met with representatives of the US Department of Transportation (USDOT), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), academia, industry and many more. The meeting was an incredible resource for networking with the national transportation community. It also provided opportunities to learn about emerging technologies, best practices, material applications, safety awareness, equipment and so much more regarding our nation’s transportation network from leading subject matter experts. It proved to be an invaluable continuing education experience for all that attended and will benefit both Hawk Strategies’ and APS’s customers.
